Lightroom was a public photography space that was open to everyone in the borough

Light Room was a free, public photography space set up in the Church Elm Lane shop and open to everyone in the Borough. If you have a smartphone or a digital camera, the studio was the space to learn how to use it.

Residents have hosted sessions about setting up the lighting and studio space, learning how to use a smartphone to take photos and also looking at framing and angles.

From the success of the Light Room in the Church Elm Lane shop, residents in Barking also turned one of the rooms in the Ripple Road shop into a studio space.
