Plant & Seed Exchange

All about displaying and swapping seeds with your neighbours!

The Seed Exchange project began in collaboration with the Barking and Dagenham Youth Offenders Team, who cultivated an allotment space on Fambridge Road. The idea developed through the shop spaces at a Tea & Toast session. When we realised there was an appetite for growing plants from seed, and that other residents that were interested in greening, the Plant and Seed Exchange was born. Seeds were on display for residents to take and swap with each other. People jumped at the chance to grow a different range of plants at home.
