Open Streets

Open Streets was a project that encouraged residents to connect with their neighbours

With the help of Every One Every Day team to get permissions and plan and promote the sessions, residents could start to discover what range of skills and interests people living around them had that were capable of meeting collective needs.

In the Autumn programme 2019, local residents responded to a call out to create an Open Street which enabled neighbours to grow veg, raise chickens, tend fruit trees, keep bees, and share the surplus in the community.
