Rock Paper Scissors
Residents with their own retail products were invited to work with a designer to refine and package them for sale in a pop-up shop that residents ran together
Rock Paper Scissors was a maker collective that joined a collaborative business programme to design, make, and sell modern homeware products, like clothing, jewellery or gifts. Participants learnt how to design a product with a skilled designer, and then how to use different machines in the Warehouse, like the heat press, the laser cutter, or wood-working tools.
Participants then made enough stock of products to sell and learned how to set up a pop-up shop, and how to work the till and engage with customers - all while working together with a group of other local people.
