Plant Library

A project stemmed from a love of indoor plants

The Plant Library project stems from a love of indoor plants and wanting to share tips and ideas for looking after those wonderful plants, so more people can enjoy them too.

Local residents initially kicked off the project by hosting sessions where everyone could share their plants with others, swap plants or sow a seed for someone else to benefit from in the future.

The Ripple Road shop used to house a Plant Library corner where residents could help themselves and take home plant clippings to grow more plants. There was always soil and pots available for an impromptu planting session.
