Essential Works
A series of programmes where residents learnt how to make sustainable, essential products with different materials
Twenty young adults were employed via HM Treasury’s Kickstart Scheme to learn how to make essential food, homewares, and fashion products and test trade them at a pop-up shop called The Good House.
The Kickstarters developed collaborative brands called Geo, Wildly, Clayd, Loop and Thames 47 and collectively learned to design, produce and sell items on a local pop-up store.
