Maker Day

Maker Day was a small-scale festival that celebrated the skilled individuals in our community who are creators.

Maker Day was a mini-festival of making and celebrating the talented people in our borough who make beautiful objects. On the day, there were opportunities for all ages to learn how to craft and create, including learning to make your own lace, bunting, and a clay station. These sessions were led by expert craftspeople who have made a great success of these skills and all had passion to share their knowledge with others.
